Selecting the right Gym

There are three major categories of gyms that cater to adults.  One is the plush, high-end type, equipped with saunas, massage therapists, and a lot of chrome equipment.  The next type of gym or fitness center is the general purpose fitness center, which is also the most common.  They try to cater to the masses by offering a variety of classes, weight machines, free-weights, and often times even child care while you exercise.  The third category is the specialty gym.  These cater to only the hardcore specialists in a narrow demographic, such as powerlifting/bodybuilding, martial arts, or boxing.

If you are one of the hardcore bodybuilders or weight lifters who want to train hard and heavy and would cringe at the site of a pink dumbbell, I have found four gyms that will suit your need in the greater Cincinnati area.
