Attention all social media experts, gurus, ninjas: if you can jabber about “The Hills” or Lady Gaga’s eccentric wardrobe in 140 characters or less and would like a gig that allows you to schmooze with music’s hottest acts, tweet yourself over to MTV.
Network officials have announced the search for the first TJ, or Twitter Jockey (because VJs are are more passe than tribal tattoos and Limp Bizkit). MTV has already selected 18 potential candidates and hopes viewers can find two more top-notch Twitter contenders.
The position is based in New York and the winner will rake in a six-figure salary, along with a slew of red carpet-quality perks.
